Understanding our kitchen herbs, commonly known as ‘masalas’, and how they facilitate our health as our first line of prevention when we are wounded, or down with fever, cold, cough and other conditions that a family of three generations goes through in a lifetime. We have all heard or seen how our grandmothers or great-grandmothers used to handle so many health conditions with utmost confidence. With my experience as a Vaidya/Ayurveda doctor, implementing all the concepts at my home,I bring the reasoning of the many useful ‘homemade practises’.

- What does Kitchen mean to us?
- Shadras/6 flavours and Tridosha
- Various herbs- Jeera, coriander, turmeric(haldi),fenugreek, asafoetida(heeng), ajwain, fennel(saunf), black pepper, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, onion and more.
- How does Ayurveda understand the properties and actions of herbs?
