After the course I am much aware of balancing tridoshas , in order to stay at maximum potential. It is very clear now, how some of our habits and actions effects our over all well being. Also now I am more aware of the food which I am intaking based on climate to balance tridoshas.

Course- Tridosha

This workshop was like a beautiful picture of a web for me that showed the interconnection of the 5 elements of the cosmos, their presence in our bodies and their presence in the plant and animal orders. (So matter – plant – animals – humans – are all inter connected). And all this happens in the backdrop of the natural cycle of day, night and seasons. Therefore everything we eat and assimilate also has these elements. And if we can create and maintain a balance of these elements, we will be in a state of harmony, just as we were meant to be. Just like it is in the natural world. Also there have been other takeaways – found detailing of indriya care very useful. Was eating fruits before breakfast, not realising outcome. Now realise winter (I used to dread) is actually the best time for body and can feel the same.

Daily Care

Three Pillars of Life – Ayurveda’s Perspective on Life, Aahar, and Balance

I learned how Ayurveda sees human life and several ways to balance our Ahaar, Nidra and Shukra Vega. This session specifically helped understand basic life units such as Aatman, Manas, Sharir etc and it gave away so many things to implement in my life such as cooking methods specific to foods, seasonal approach to foods, impact of everything on Tridosha and how best to take care of it. I really loved how openly you discussed Brahma Charya and ways to balance Shukra Vega. Finally, you really went to great detail in this session and I can only imagine the effort you must have put into it. Thanks again for guiding us.

The sessions were great eyeopeners regarding many topics, a lot of why’s got answered for me. Every minute including discussions were valuable and every word was a takeaway; the main were body, mind and soul coordination and bramhacharya, it has unfolded a lot of unaddressed information, the taboo topics were well explained and discussed in an enlightened environment. The teaching was as always excellent. Shefaliji, I really admire your intense knowledge, patience and the ease of tutoring, hat’s off. Thank you for a great learning experience, waiting for many more.
